These are some preliminary ideas for  further discussion of and work with the concept of “Reflexive Europeanization”. This concept is still a work in progress (Römhild 2009). While it is meant to sharpen the focus on “contentious heritage”, the TRACES project and its CCPs will also be productive sites of testing and further developing the methodological approach of “Reflexive Europeanization”.
