thank you very much for responding. Although most of you wrote to inform us that you will not be able to "come", it gave us a very pleasant and much appreciated sense of working together on this project. In case you have specific issues you'd like to discuss, please let us know. We see the Skype meetings as part of a wider communication process, which also includes various basecamp message boards, pings, documents and even the odd face-to-face meeting. We'll do our best to circulate meaningful minutes and more generally get on with the TRACES evaluation-and-book-production process.

Is there an agenda? I'd like to prepare a bit.
thanks for your interest! Here's the agenda:
1. Report
The idea for this meeting was to discuss the abstracts along the preliminary list of contents. We have received abstracts from Suzana, and Julie and Răzvan from Medias (see folder docs & files -> contributions -> abstracts). A catch 22 is that people want to know exact requirements and that I find it difficult to come up with this information without having an idea what kind of content everyone can contribute to the book. The CCPs have different writing capacities, so I it's not a one-size-fits-all exercise. Also, the work-packages are engaging to different extent.
At the last steering comitee, a plan was hatched for a proper evaluation process, which, as far as i understand, should feed into the final TRACES report and the companion.
2. Contributions from those present
This will be an opportunity for present board members (Alenka, Nora, John plus 4 x Klagenfurt) to outline ideas for their contributions to the companion. This might bring up points that need clarification, very useful for the companion as a whole.
4. serious review of concept #2
Initially, we offered different options for formats (e.g. 200, 1500 and 6000 words) and left it to authors to decide if they prefer to write several small pieces or one big piece. It seems that we need to come up with quantifyable requests for both CCPs and WPs.
Also, some sub-chapters which take an across-traces perspective need "convenors" if they are supposed to work (photography, materiality, pace of things etc.). How to deal with this?
5. next steps

Marion & Melanie
I've managed to make an overview of whats needed and what's offered from CCPs and WPs. My aim was to figure out requirements from each CCP, WP or WP leader. Its complex, and I'm very much looking forward to suggestions for improvement.
Although you probably won't find time to read this today, I thought I'd post it anyway.
